TVP Health is a 501c3 nonprofit located at MassRobotics in the Seaport district of Boston. Our mission to simplify complex biomedical products to make them accessible and affordable for all. Our first ventilator, AIRA, was developed to be a universally accessible ventilator that could save the lives of Covid-19 patients experiencing respiratory illnesses worldwide. Current ventilators can cost upwards of $40,000. Our goal is to rapidly prototype, build & ship ventilators built from readily available parts for a fraction of this price, providing hospitals & patients with a cheaper alternative. Everyone deserves a chance to fight COVID19, fight with us. As of March 2021, our AIRA ventilator acquired the FDA EUA (Emergency Use Authorization).

Job Summary

TVP Health is looking for a Learning and Training Coordinator within the Department of Quality and Regulatory Affairs (Q&RA). The Learning and Training Coordinator will report to the Director of Administration and regularly communicate with the Policy, and Quality and Compliance Engineering Project Managers. In this role, the Learning and Training Coordinator will:

  • Schedule interviews, onboarding/offboarding, and train new volunteers ensuring uptake and retention of important, technical onboarding information.

  • Bring new volunteers up to speed on current projects.

  • Facilitate presentations of reports and materials to other divisions and departments.

  • Coordinate the development of training materials, performance metrics, evaluations, and other resources.

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes, international standards, and ongoing and completed Q&RA and TVP Health projects to communicate to new volunteers.

  • Depending on the project or initiative, the Learning and Training Coordinator also might liaise and work with Human Resources.

Required Skills
  • Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

  • Excellent and proven communication skills.

  • Experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Administration, or a technical field.

  • Experience developing training materials, presentations, and formal reports.

  • This position is remote or on-site and unpaid/volunteer. The Coordinator is expected to work a minimum of 4 days per week, ~3 hours per day.

Ideal Skills
  • Experience in business administration and project management can be helpful.

  • Experience in human resources or administration within regulatory affairs can be helpful.

 

DISCLOSURE: Current on-site volunteers are working in an isolated office setting while practicing safe social distancing practices. We have gloves and masks readily available, and the office space is professionally cleaned several times throughout the week.
