AIRA HAS RECEIVED EUA
Our ventilator, AIRA, has received the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA. With this authorization, we are able to begin manufacturing and delivering our ventilators to hospitals around the globe. AIRA was created using a novel design process that enables basic ventilator functions without the bells and whistles. This allows us to keep costs low and sell our ventilator at approximately half the cost of an average ventilator.

Our ventilator, AIRA will be featured in the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City in an exhibition called “Design and Healing: Creative Responses to Epidemics”. In addition we will be published in the Health Design Thinking, Second Edition book by Bon Ku, MD and Ellen Lupton.
On March 20th, Tyler Mantel paused his work to solve the ventilator shortage. Since then, our team has grown to over 200 remote volunteer engineers, medical, regulatory, and business professionals. We illustrate how quickly problems can be solved when people work together.
